The 2" x 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" ABS 45 reducing wye is designed for drain, waste and vent (DWV) plumbing systems that require both a branch connection and a reduction in pipe size along the main run. This fitting transitions from 2 inch pipe down to 1-1/2 inch pipe while providing a 45 degree branch outlet for smooth directional flow.

Unlike standard reducing wyes that only reduce at the branch, this configuration reduces one side of the straight run as well as the branch connection. This makes it ideal for applications where system sizing changes downstream while maintaining proper drainage slope and flow characteristics.
